Tony Perotti navy leather clutch wallet from the Cortina collection — a long wallet that takes banknotes flat, without folding them.
Crafted in Italy from smooth matte full-grain calf leather, it has a clean, understated appearance and a pleasant feel in the hand.
The flap closes on hidden magnets, so the front stays smooth with nothing on it but the embossed compass rose. Inside there are fourteen card slots, set out in four blocks across both panels — two blocks of four and two of three. Between them sits a zipped compartment for notes with a further pocket beneath it, and a separate zipped coin pocket. A detachable leather wrist strap clips to the snap hook, and the hardware is silver-tone. With the strap unclipped the wallet reads as a plain long billfold, so the model works equally for men and women.
Like every piece in the Cortina collection, it features the collection’s own emblem instead of Tony Perotti’s familiar turtle — the compass rose. The symbol is embossed on the front, repeated as a print on the lining and reproduced on the gift box. It represents travel, freedom and new horizons, while its points extending in every direction evoke adventure, discovery and the determination to overcome obstacles.
Inside the accessory, the words “Vera Pelle” are also embossed into the leather; translated from Italian, they mean “genuine leather.”
