Outside, the canopy is plain black with a soft sheen. Inside, it is printed all over with large fuchsia roses on a darker berry ground.
The canopy is double-cloth: the printed inner layer is part of its construction. Both layers are 100% polyester, and the canopy rests on 8 ribs.
The umbrella opens and closes by hand. When furled, it is held by a silver-tone ring engraved with the Pasotti name. The shaft and tip are silver-tone.
The sculpted skull handle with a resin core and silver-tone finish, densely encrusted with fuchsia Swarovski crystals, crowns a straight, glossy black grip. The eye sockets, nose and teeth are left in a dark silver tone that brings out the relief.
