Made in Italy from natural bull leather, top grain, finished glossy. The top edge is cut in a shallow arch, and tan contrast stitching runs the whole way round.
A leather band down each side and a wider band across the foot let you slide blotting paper, a calendar sheet or a document under the leather and keep it flat — the classic blotter arrangement, so the face of the mat can be changed whenever you like.
The underside is suede across the full field: it holds its place on a polished desk and will not scratch it.
