The Pasotti women's brown umbrella with a vintage postcard print and a wooden handle pairs a quiet brown canopy with a romantic collage of old postcards inside and a wooden handle with a round ball top. Handmade in Italy.
Outside, the canopy is a soft dark brown. Inside, a collage of vintage postcards and handwritten letters in sepia, cream and grey covers the whole canopy, with views of Paris and the Eiffel Tower among the stamps and lines of script. Closed, the umbrella looks discreet and classic; open, it feels like leafing through an old travel album.
The canopy is double-cloth: the printed inner layer is part of its construction. Both layers are 100% polyester, and the canopy rests on 8 ribs.
The umbrella opens and closes by hand. When furled, it is held by a gold-tone ring engraved with the Pasotti name. The shaft and tip are gold-tone.
The straight handle is wood with a rich brown grain, topped with a polished round wooden ball. A gold-tone collar and a fine gold-tone chain add a touch of shine. Because wood is a natural material, its shade and grain vary from piece to piece.
Length (closed): 93 cm. Canopy diameter (open): 102 cm.
Comes in a red branded Pasotti gift box.
A gift for a woman who loves travel, Paris and vintage details.
