Outside, the canopy is deep black with a soft sheen. Inside, a jaguar print with brown and black spots on a cream ground covers the whole canopy, so the umbrella looks strict when closed and bold when open.
The canopy is double-cloth: the printed inner layer is part of its construction. Both layers are 100% polyester, and the canopy rests on 8 ribs.
The umbrella opens and closes by hand. When furled, it is held by a gold-tone ring engraved with the Pasotti name. The shaft and tip are gold-tone.
The handle is enameled brass: a jaguar head in ivory enamel with painted brown and black spots, a gold-tone open mouth with fangs and a gold-tone collar set with Swarovski crystals. Below sit a gold-tone ring and a glossy black grip.
