The Pasotti men's brown check umbrella with a one-piece ash handle pairs a classic country check with a crook handle and shaft made from a single piece of ash, its surface left full of natural knots. Handmade in Italy.
The canopy has a sandy beige ground crossed by a check of dark brown bands and fine red lines. It is a woven fabric with a different look on the underside, where the check appears in dusty rose and salmon tones.
The canopy is single-layer, made of 100% polyester, and rests on 8 ribs.
The umbrella opens and closes by hand. When furled, it is held by a fabric strap with a silver-tone snap button.
The crook handle and the shaft are made from a single piece of ash, and the crook ends in a rounded knob. The wood keeps a warm honey-brown tone and a textured surface with natural knots along the crook, and the handle carries a silver-tone Pasotti plaque. Because the wood is natural, its shade, grain and the pattern of knots vary from piece to piece.
