The Pasotti men's blue paisley umbrella with a wooden schnauzer handle pairs a classic paisley canopy with a hand-carved wooden schnauzer head, a characterful sculptural detail on a refined gentleman's umbrella. Handmade in Italy.
The deep blue fabric has a fine herringbone texture scattered with small paisley motifs in gold and terracotta. It is a woven fabric with a different pattern on the underside: diagonal stripes in navy, rust red and olive gold with tonal paisleys.
The canopy is single-layer, made of 100% polyester, and rests on 8 ribs.
The umbrella is semi-automatic: it opens at the press of a button and closes by hand. When furled, it is held by a fabric strap with a silver-tone snap button. The shaft and tip are silver-tone.
The handle is carved by hand from wood in the shape of a schnauzer head, with a bearded muzzle, bushy brows and folded ears picked out in darker tones. It sits on a silver-tone ring above a black section of the grip, and a silver-tone collar engraved with the Pasotti name finishes the grip where it meets the canopy. Wood is a natural material and every handle is carved by hand, so the shade and grain may differ slightly from the photos.
