The canopy is deep black with a fine woven texture and a soft sheen, a timeless base that lets the carved handle take centre stage.
The canopy is single-layer, made of 100% polyester, and rests on 8 ribs.
The umbrella is semi-automatic: it opens at the press of a button and closes by hand. When furled, it is held by a fabric strap with a silver-tone snap button. The shaft and tip are silver-tone.
The handle is carved by hand from wood in the shape of a tiger head with an open mouth and carved stripes, toned from honey to dark brown so the grain of the wood stays visible. It sits on a silver-tone ring above a black section of the grip, and a silver-tone collar engraved with the Pasotti name finishes the grip where it meets the canopy. Wood is a natural material and every handle is carved by hand, so the shade and grain may differ slightly from the photos.
