The Pasotti women's purple double canopy umbrella with a rose print hides a painterly garden inside an iridescent purple canopy and finishes it with a jeweled gold-tone handle. Handmade in Italy.
From the outside, the canopy is plain purple with an iridescent sheen that shifts towards pink in the light. Open it, and the inside of the canopy shows soft, painterly roses and peonies in pink, magenta and coral with olive-green leaves, on a ground of plum, purple and grey-blue.
The canopy is double-cloth: the printed inner layer is part of its construction, so the umbrella looks calm when furled and striking when open. Both layers are 100% polyester, and the canopy rests on 8 ribs.
The umbrella opens and closes by hand. When furled, it is held by a gold-tone sliding ring engraved with the Pasotti name. The shaft and tip are gold-tone.
The slender crook handle is gold-tone jeweled brass, engraved with a basket-weave pattern, with an oval purple rhinestone on the shank and another set into the end of the crook.
Length (closed): 93 cm. Canopy diameter (open): 102 cm.
Comes in a red branded Pasotti gift box.
A gift for a woman who likes deep colours and a print that shows only when the umbrella opens.
