A dark brown leather laptop briefcase from the Tony Perotti Italico collection — two independent zip compartments, a padded laptop pocket and a detachable shoulder strap.
The briefcase is made in Italy from full-grain bull leather with the natural grain of the hide preserved. Italico leather is firm and full-bodied with a deep polished sheen, so the rectangular shape stays crisp and the panels do not slump when the bag is carried empty. In moro the piece is finished with contrasting tan stitching that traces every seam and handle, and the hardware is antique brass — warmer and more traditional than the black version of the same model.
The body opens into two independent compartments, each closed by its own zip running the full width of the top. Between them sits a third zipped divider pocket. One compartment is padded to take a laptop or a tablet; the other is organised with card slots, two pen loops and open pockets for a phone and a notebook, with a further zipped pocket on the inner wall. The lining is taupe Tony Perotti jacquard.
Outside, a full-width flat pocket spans the front for papers that have to stay within reach, and a zipped pocket of the same width runs across the back. Two short leather handles are set on reinforced tabs, and brass side rings take the detachable shoulder strap — jacquard webbing woven with the Tony Perotti name, finished with leather end tabs and a sliding leather keeper, adjustable for length. The base carries leather-covered protective studs.
An oval Tony Perotti patch is embossed on the front panel and the maker's signature is stamped into the back. The emblem of the Italico collection is a turtle — the mark of unhurried, deliberate work — and it is embossed into the leather rather than applied to it, so it ages at the same rate as the surface around it.
Like every piece in the collection, the briefcase is genuine Italian leather — Vera Pelle — cut, stitched and finished in Italy.
