A dark brown leather attaché briefcase from the Tony Perotti Italico collection — a zip that runs round the whole perimeter, three sections inside and a detachable leather shoulder strap.
Made in Italy from natural bull leather of the top grade, outer layer. Italico leather is firm and full-bodied with a deep polished sheen, and here it does structural work: the case is a flat rectangle with rounded corners that holds its shape on its own, without a frame. In moro the dark brown is set off by light cream stitching that traces every seam and by hardware in a muted brass tone — the handle brackets, the zip pulls and the studs on the base.
The zip runs the full perimeter, so the case opens flat like a folder. Inside, three sections are separated by fabric partitions, and one of those partitions is itself a large zipped pocket. One section takes a laptop, another an A4 folder and papers. Along the inner wall sit pockets for the small things — a phone, pens, personal documents — and the whole interior is lined in the collection's brown check with the hologram authenticity tag stitched in.
Outside, the back panel carries a full-width zipped pocket set into a horizontal band, with a flat pocket below it. The front stays clean apart from the embossed oval Tony Perotti emblem — the turtle of the Italico collection, the mark of unhurried, deliberate work.
One moulded leather handle is held by brass brackets, and the detachable leather shoulder strap has a sliding leather pad with the same turtle embossed on it. Four studs on the base keep the case off the floor.
