A chocolate brown leather flap briefcase from the Tony Perotti Italico collection — a brass catch lock with a key, two compartments and a leather-lined organiser on the front wall.
Made in Italy from natural bull leather of the top grade, outer layer. The colour is a deep chocolate brown with a quiet polish to it, and it is picked out by a double row of contrasting tan stitching that runs the whole perimeter, around the flap and along the handle. All the metal is brass: the lock, the handle brackets, the fittings.
The flap covers the front and fastens with a brass catch lock that takes a key; the Italico turtle is engraved on the plate. Behind it the body opens into two compartments with a large zipped pocket between them, and a further zipped pocket is set into the underside of the flap.
The front wall is given over to an organiser, and this is where the briefcase shows its grade: it is lined in tan leather stamped with the repeating Tony Perotti motif, and holds open pockets of several sizes, card slots, a pocket for a phone and three pen loops side by side.
Outside, the back carries another large zipped pocket across the full width, with the embossed Tony Perotti signature below it. One short padded leather handle is held by brass brackets — this model is made to be carried in the hand, and has no shoulder strap.
