A black leather laptop briefcase from the Tony Perotti Contatto collection — two independent zip compartments, a section for a 15-inch laptop and a detachable jacquard shoulder strap.
Contatto is the softest leather Tony Perotti works with: premium calf hide with a fine natural pebble grain, tanned to stay supple in the hand while the briefcase keeps its rectangular business outline. The finish is matte rather than polished, the black is deep and even, and the stitching runs tonal so nothing interrupts the line. The hardware is bright silver tone.
The body holds two independent compartments, each closed by its own metal zip across the top. One takes a laptop up to 15 inches; the second stays clear for folders and papers, with two open pockets on the side wall and a zipped divider between the sections. Under the lid sit a mesh zipped pocket and a further zipped pocket, and the whole interior is lined in slate-grey fabric printed with the repeating Tony Perotti signature.
The full-width front panel is a zipped organiser in its own right: three card slots, two pen loops and a pocket for a phone, all finished in the same printed lining. A second full-width zipped pocket runs across the back for documents that have to stay flat and reachable, and it doubles as a pass-through for a trolley handle.
Two leather handles are held by silver H-buckles, and side rings take the detachable shoulder strap — jacquard webbing woven with the Tony Perotti name, with a leather shoulder pad and adjustable length. An oval Tony Perotti emblem is embossed on the upper front panel and the maker's signature on the front pocket.
