A black leather laptop briefcase from the Tony Perotti New Contatto collection — two independent zip compartments, a section for a 15-inch laptop and a detachable jacquard shoulder strap.
New Contatto uses the same premium calf hide as the Contatto line, tanned a shade firmer: the grain is a little more pronounced and the panels hold their shape more readily, while the leather keeps the soft hand the collection is known for. The finish is matte, the black deep and even, the stitching tonal, and the hardware a darker nickel tone.
The body divides into two independent compartments, each with its own metal zip across the top. One takes a laptop up to 15 inches; the second stays clear for folders and papers, with two open pockets and a zipped divider between the sections. A mesh zipped pocket and a further zipped pocket sit under the lid. The lining is light grey satin woven with the Tony Perotti name in large lettering.
The full-width front panel is a zipped organiser: three card slots, two pen loops and a pocket for a phone. A second full-width zipped pocket runs across the back for documents that have to stay flat and reachable.
Two leather handles are held by metal H-buckles, and side rings take the detachable shoulder strap — jacquard webbing printed with the Tony Perotti name along its length, adjustable and finished with swivel hooks.
